How to Ensure Accurate Profit/Loss Reporting from ByBit

Have you noticed that sometimes when you check a trade in Cornix, it shows a profit, but when you check the same trade in ByBit, it shows a loss?

This happens when multiple trades are opened for the same coin in the same direction before the previous trade is closed.

If you’re checking the profit/loss (Closed P&L Report) in ByBit in this scenario, you won’t get an accurate number.

That’s why we always recommend checking your profit/loss from Cornix instead of ByBit.

Here are some ways to get an accurate profit/loss report from ByBit, in case you’re concerned that Cornix may be showing incorrect data:

Option 1: Check Profit/Loss at ByBit After All Trades Are Closed

Wait until all trades are closed in both Cornix and ByBit, and then check the total profit/loss in both platforms.

The numbers will almost match, although there may be some small differences because Cornix doesn’t include trading fees in the profit.

Option 2: Temporarily Disable Auto Trading and Let All the Trades Close

We understand that waiting for all trades to close may not be possible, especially when you receive multiple signals from BitsTurtle throughout the day.

In that case, you can temporarily disable auto trading for BitsTurtle and let all current open trades close.

Once this is done, you can check your profits/losses on ByBit and Cornix to ensure they match accurately.

Option 3: Check for Profit/Loss of Single Coin Pair

We recommend this option, as you can still trade and be satisfied with looking at the profit/loss in ByBit, knowing that the data is correct.

When checking the profit at ByBit, check for a single coin pair and wait until all trades for that coin pair are closed. This way, you’ll have a clear picture of your profit/loss.

If you want to import the entire profit and loss data for each coin as used in the previous video, then you can follow the steps provided in the video below:
